Simple Answers ABA was founded by a mother daughter team with a passion for helping those who cannot help themselves. Simple Answers is a family company that recognizes the incredibly important role family plays in the lives of children and the importance of children to their families. We believe in empowering parents and providing them with tools and knowledge so that they can effectively and confidently manage their child’s psycho-social and behavioral needs.

Merceydes graduated from FIU in 2010 with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and has been working with children ever since. While providing psychotherapy to children in the child welfare/foster care system, she came to realize how effective behavioral based approaches were at addressing many of the issues commonly experienced by these children. So she went back to school to pursue a Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA) which she obtained in 2014. Merceydes has worked for several ABA agencies across the US, serving many different roles such as regional director and clinical director. Merceydes is also an adjunct professor of psychology at FIU and has a private practice for holistic counseling, dedicated to helping adults address their mental health issues without the use of medications.

Robyn has been in office management/administration and HR for the last several decades. She has spent the majority of her life managing the ins and outs of large companies but decided she wanted to spend her “golden years” giving back. Robyn has a passion for empowering and supporting parents. Her youngest child was born with a congenital heart defect and later in elementary school was diagnosed with ADHD, so she understands the importance of supporting parents as they struggle to help their child deal with physical and psychological challenges. Robyn is a strong advocate for parents and a firm believer that family comes first.
